'A hypnotic taste of Berlin, all the way from the sunny South Coast'
(NME on Rotor / Late)
"Brighton based producer by way of Wolverhampton and Bristol presents us with some breath-taking and melodic journey tracks and inaugurates his new imprint. "
(Juno on Rotor / Late)
Inaugurating his new label and with his focus firmly on the dancefloor, Brighton producer Nathan Pope, aka Antenna Happy, turns in two essential new tracks. Originally released on 12" in early summer 2015, the EP now gets the digital treatment.
First up is Rotor - driving arpeggios and a pulsating bassline lay the foundations before giving space to emotive pads from a bygone era.
In Late, fragmented warehouse memories jostle for position in an atmospheric cut designed for the small hours.
The digital release is complemented by 2 sparkling remixes. AIMES brings his own brand of space disco to the party in his remix of Late, whilst Akim # provides late night depth in his shimmering interpretation of Rotor.
The package is completed with Nathan's own Late Mix of Rotor, where bubbling acid lines intertwine, taking the track into the outer reaches.
